Electronics distract. The dopamine hit is real. For my son, it gets in the way of focusing on important things like getting dressed, eating, and going out the door in the morning.
We instituted a “First things first” mindset. Before he can get on anything, he has to be dressed and ready to eat – including grooming his mane.
Since then, it’s remarkably easier to get out of the house in the morning. No fuss. No friction.
Made me think: Where are my people seeking the dopamine and getting distracted from focusing on the “right” things?
• I’m seeing a big shift in AI you should pay attention to.
- AI is infiltrating everywhere.
- It breeds a lack of trust because people don’t know what is “real.”
- This results in a decline in attention to search results and blogs.
- Therefore, “word of mouth” is more important.
- The demand for community is real and growing. Like crazy.
Our friend Pablo’s thesis is right. Get really close to your clients and community. Business depends on it.
• According to the NHTB, more than 50% of major accidents happen at or near intersections.
School your leaders and people to pay keen attention to where intersections happen in your business. Otherwise, bad shit will happen.
Stop and think about the friction in your business. I bet 97.6% stems from (blind) intersections.
It’s avoidable.
