It’s been a hot minute. I was focused on executing the 3rd Annual Leadership Summit. #success
Here’s what I’ve been learning, thinking, and writing about…
- Your people must know their KPIs to drive results. Equip your people to confidently answer, “Did you have a good day at work?”
- You can’t operate effectively without a plan.
- Communicate your bold vision to create alignment. Too bold and the vision demotivates and you lose credibility.
- Don’t lose talented, key employees over a lack of communication.
- Just keep going. Tenacity, grit and resilience sit at the heart of success.
- Finding, aligning and retaining quality humans remain the number one concern for CEOs.
- As AI improves, people will want to talk with AI to resolving issues instead of humans. It will be faster and more efficient. Think about that market shift.
- Frameworks align the team and create repeatable, scalable and (more) predictable results. They take time to build, require important decisions and create accountability, so people don’t do it. Massive mistake.
- SOPs are critical. But without context, humans won’t understand how to change direction to create the intended result. Context > SOP
- If you are interested in scaling, implement technology today. This includes AI.
- If you can’t clearly articulate the important, painful problem you solve then earning customers is near impossible…unless your product is just that good.
I’m not sure any of these ideas are groundbreaking. HOWEVER, execution is everything.
How are you doing on the throughput? I’m finding too many are operating without plans, KPIs or frameworks and are sleeping on AI.
Ideas are cheap.
Implementation matters.
