The sprint to 24…how fast are your legs moving? Get going.
—
I was on a call with a new company. It was clear that they focused deeply on their user. Great, right?
Not exactly. Their company has users AND they have buyers. The stakeholders’ needs and approaches are unique. This makes the messaging harder and potentially confusing.
Made me think:
💰Sell the buyer.
🤩Wow the user.
• How do you communicate with different stakeholders and unique needs?
I visited in person with Greg, Warren, and John. 🙏 We spoke about standards, winning cultures, and mindsets.
Made me think: Companies have different values. But, is there a universal ethos applicable to all businesses?
Three I’ve landed on:
1️⃣ You should be hell-bent on building world-class relationships. This drives smart, long-term thinking.
2️⃣ Work with a “Jimmy John’s” sense of urgency towards the finish line once you’ve committed to a goal. This drives a freaky fast pace of achievement.
3️⃣ When you achieve your goals and objectives, celebrate like your team won the Super Bowl. This drives fun, engagement, and higher performance. Winning is addictive.
What do you think? Are there universal principles?
• WAIT remains the only four-letter word I fucking can’t stand in business.
